Missouri at Texas 2011 College Basketball Spreads, Odds & Predictions

The last time the Missouri Tigers (17-3) mens basketball team entered the state of Texas was two weeks ago when they went down to College Station and almost stole a game at Texas A&M, before falling in overtime 91-89 and covering the point spreads as a 5-chalk underdog. The Tigers will be looking to improve on that effort Saturday night (9 PM Eastern) when the Tigers face the task of playing the seventh-ranked Texas Longhorns (17-3) at Erwin Special Events Center in Austin. The 2011 version of the Missouri Tigers isn't intimidated by playing other ranked teams as their three game winning streak against ranked opponents is testimate to.

Texas improved to 5-0 in BIG 12 play following its 61-46 win over Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Wednesday. For Missouri to have a chance Saturday, Mike Anderson's Tigers will need to convert against the Longhorns defense, one of the nations best.

College Basketball Predictions
: Texas has become almost unbeatable at home and they know how to beat the point spreads. The Longhorns whipped Texas A&M on Jan. 19 by 21 points, covering the spread as a 6 1/2-chalk favorite. Four days prior to that the Longhorns molested Oklahoma covering  as a 19-point favorite. Missouri is pretty good but the Longhorns will handle their pressure and will cover the -7 chalk: BEST BET – Texas -7.
