The Marquette Golden Eagles will be the only top 25 team in action tonight when they take on conference rival South Florida. The Big East match-up is scheduled to get under way at 7:00pm ET at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida. The game will be televised on ESPN's Full Court package. That mark, along with their 20-2 overall record has them sitting at first place in the conference standings, just ahead of Connecticut and Louisville. Marquette has yet to play either of those two schools.

The Eagles last played on Wednesday night, when they handed DePaul a 76-61 loss. Guard Jerel McNeal, who is averaging 20 points per game, dropped in 26 points in his return to his home state of Illinois, leading his team to an easy victory over the Blue Demons.

Buzz Williams' team has been big on the road this season, going 5-0 and they also rank eighth in the nation in scoring average at 81.3 points per game.

South Florida has been anything but intimidating this season on the basketball court. They are 7-14 overall and have managed just two conference wins in nine games. The Bulls are currently mired in a three game losing streak, and they have lost seven of their last 10 games. The latest mishaps both occurred on the road as USF fell victim to Louisville 54-80 on January 28th and to St. John's 48-65 on February 1st.

South Florida has difficulty scoring the ball as evidenced by their 35 percent shooting from the field in the St. John's loss. While they perform slightly better at home, where they are 5-4, the Bulls are averaging a meager 61.3 points per game while giving up 64.9 in return.
