Odds to win the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship: The conference seasons are starting to wind down and the NCAA Tournament is just around the corner; however, even at this late juncture, it can be difficult to tell which teams will emerge come March. Two squads that do appear primed for post-season success, though, are the Kansas Jayhawks and Kentucky Wildcats. Those teams also happens to be SPORTSBETTING.com's favorites to win it all in their Odds to win the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship.

Kansas is presently the overall favorite to win the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship at +150 moneyline odds, and Odds to win the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Championshipwith good reason. Bill Self's all-star lineup has put together a 25-1 record and an 11-0 conference tally. The Jayhawks, whose lone loss came at No. 20 Tennessee, extended their current win streak to 11 games last night, beating Texas A&M 59-54 in College Station.

Kansas, which is outscoring teams by an average of 19.8 points per game on the year, ranks fifth in the nation in points per game (82.2), fifth in the nation in assists per game (17.5), and sixth in the nation in rebounds per game (41.5).

Kentucky has also earned its lofty ranking (No. 2 in both polls) and +300 moneyline odds. The Wildcats are 24-1 overall and 9-1 SEC play, with their only setback coming against South Carolina. John Calipari's squad, like Kansas, has dominated its opposition, outpacing teams by an average of 16 points per contest. The Wildcats 81.3 points and 42.2 rebounds per game rank seventh and fifth in the country, respectively.

The third and fourth most favored teams to win the National Championship are the Texas Longhorns (+350) and Syracuse Orange (+600). The Longhorns are somewhat of a surprise in the third spot given their shaky play of late. Rick Barnes' club is 6-4 in Big 12 action and has lost five of its last eight games. The Orange had an 11 game win streak snapped in their last outing (lost 60-66 to Louisville), but they are still 24-2 on the season and an impressive 7-0 away from the Carrier Dome.
