The Pittsburgh Panthers roll into this one at 19-6 SU but only 7-5 SU in Conference Play.  The Panthers had a two game wining streak come to end on Friday after getting pasted by Marguette 72-54.  The loss spoiled the return of guard Levance Fields, who had missed 12 games with a broken left foot. The junior played 20 minutes and scored just four points on 1-of-7 shooting.  The Pittsburgh offense hasn’t really been a force on the road this season as they are scoring only 65.7 points per game which is over 8 points less than their overall average.  Their defense has been stout giving up only 66.7 per game when on the road.  They will need every bit of that defense as they are going up a Notre Dame offense who can score.  A loss by the Panthers tonight will just about take them out of the Big East title chase and leave them to look forward to the Conference Tournament.

Pittsburgh has done well when coming off a Conference loss recently as they are 6-0 ATS in road games off a loss against a conference rival over the last 2 seasons while Notre Dame has struggled with success going only 5-13 ATS after having won 2 of their last 3 games over the last 2 seasons.
