Boston College, who is not ranked, is in sixth place in the ACC as a result of their 7-6 conference record. The Eagles are 19-9 overall, but they have lost three of their last four games as they enter tonight's foray with Florida State. Their latest misstep took place on Saturday night when they were turned away 58-69 by the Miami Hurricanes in Coral Gables, Florida.
Boston College outrebounded Miami 36 to 27, but their poor shooting (36.2 percent on field goals) did them in. The Hurricanes also dropped in 55 percent from three point range in dispatching the Eagles. Forward Joe Trapani turned in a solid effort for Head Coach Al Skinner; he led the team with 17 points and also grabbed four boards.
The Eagles are 12-4 at Conte Forum this season, but they are just 3-3 in ACC games as a host team. They average 77.4 per game at home, while allowing visitors an average of 69.1 per contest.
