Duke vs Maryland College Basketball Picks at Bodoglife.com have the Blue Devils listed as a -6.5 road favorite.

The Blue Devils have regained their early season form the past couple of outings after suffering through a stretch where they lost four of six games. Duke beat St. John's 76-69 at Madison Square Garden last Thursday and then took out one of their conference rivals, 13th ranked Wake Forest, 101-91 on Sunday at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The back-to-back wins moved their ACC record to a third place 8-4 and their overall mark to 22-5.

Duke was able to get past Wake Forest despite the Demon Deacons shooting 61 percent from the floor and 55.6 percent from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils hit 33 of their 61 field goal attempts and also forced 20 Wake turnovers. Forward Gerald Henderson scored 35 points for the Dukies in the big win.

Mike Kryzewski's team is 4-4 on the road this year where they average 68.8 points per game and give up an almost identical 68.5 per contest.

Maryland kept their NCAA Tournament hopes alive on Saturday afternoon with a 88-85 overtime win against first place North Carolina. The key victory marked the Terps third win in their last four games and improved their ACC record to 6-6, a tally good enough for seventh place in the conference standings.

The Tar Heels shot a miserable 37.7 percent from the field against Maryland's defense and also had 15 turnovers. As a team the Terrapins hit 43.3 percent from three point range but guard Greivis Vasquez stole the show. The junior recorded a triple double by scoring 35 points, grabbing 10 boards, and dishing out 11 assists.

Maryland is a stellar 14-2 at the Comcast Center this year; they average 77 points per game there and give up an average of 64.8 in return.
