With three games remaining in the regular season, the Badgers control their own destiny and are guaranteed at least a share of the Big Ten title if they win their remaining games. Wisconsin has won six of its last seven games, including its last four-straight. The Spartans (22-5, 10-4 Big Ten) have dropped three of their last six, but have won their last two against Penn State and Iowa. MSU leads the all-time series 66-56, but the Badgers hold a 40-22 advantage in Madison, including the last five-straight at the Kohl Center. Michigan State is shooting a Big Ten-best 48.7 percent from the field this season, ranking ninth in the nation (as of Feb. 25), and having shot better than 50 percent in 12 games. MSU has shot better than its opponent in 23 of 27 games. The Spartans also are shooting a Big Ten-leading 47.4 percent in league contests, marking the fifth straight season that MSU is the best shooting team in the conference. Wisconsin leads the Big Ten in scoring defense (55.3 ppg) and scoring margin (+13.0), and ranks second in field-goal percentage defense (.387) and 3-point field-goal percentage defense (.319) ... Five Badgers average more than nine points a game in league play, although none average more than 12.2.
