However, Providence has lost five straight away games by an average of 13.6 points since beating the Blue Demons.
No. 18 Pittsburgh rebounded from a loss at Notre Dame on the 24th by taking out St. John's 71-64 on Saturday. The win, which was Pitt's fifth in its last six games, improved the Panthers overall record to 22-7 and their conference tally to 11-5, leaving them a half game back of third place West Virginia in the conference standings.
The Panthers have been almost unbeatable at home this year, losing only to Georgetown in route to a 15-1 record at the Petersen Events Center. Jamie Dixon's troops has won six home games against Big East competition by an average of 10.2 points per game.
