The Cowboys made up for their shooting woes in the rematch as they hit 54 percent for the game and 14-of-28 from beyond the arc. Star guard James Anderson scored a combined 49 points in the two outings.
Oklahoma did not handle the loss of the Griffin brothers well this season, posting a sub .500 13-17 record while going 4-12 in its conference schedule. The Sooners finished just ahead of Iowa State and Nebraska as a result; they were 11 games back of first place Kansas.
Oklahoma, which is 3-11 outside of Norman this year, has lost eight straight games heading into this evening's dust up with the Cowboys. Jeff Capel's troops closed out the regular portion of their schedule with a 54-69 home loss to Texas A&M.
