 ACC powerhouse North Carolina is the only top seed not from the Big East Conference as Pittsburgh, Connecticut and Louisville were selected on Sunday as the top seeds in the 2009 NCAA Basketball Tournament. After winning the Big East Tournament title game, the Louisville Cardinals (28-5) received the top overall No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region and 1st overall.
