Point-Spreads.com is breaking down the West Regional 2009 NCAA Bracket.  The oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com have made the Connecticut Huskies +200 odds favorites to advance through the Wests Regional to the 2009 Final Four.

"The West Regional is the toughest 2009 NCAA Bracket in the tournament by far," stated Point-Spreads.com Publisher Thomas Jensen. "Memphis is arguably the best team in the league and certainly could have easily been named a No. 1 seed.  The Huskies will have to potentially face Memphis or Big 12 Tournament Champion Missouri if they are going to advance to the 2009 Final Four."

"I have to go out on top, that's the only way to look at it," stated Connecticut Huskies point guard AJ. "I've hit rock bottom so many times. ... There's a lot of guys - maybe 80% of the guys who play this game - who have never even seen rock bottom. I've done it a couple different times and to be able to bounce back - to show my resilience - I would think I have to end up on top. The only direction there's been for me is up and I've worked my way (up). Things are going as right as they can now. It's time to go out on top."
