The Eagles, which average just 62 points per game, have just one player, guard Reggie Middleton (10.3), that averages double figures in scoring.
Neither of these teams played well in true road games this year, going a combined 12-25; however, they are a combined 4-0 in neutral site play. Arkansas – Pine Bluff ranked 275th nationally in strength of schedule; Winthrop came in at 240. However, the Golden Lions have played five tournaments teams this season (UTEP, Missouri, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Georgia Tech) to Winthrop's one (Clemson).
