The Wisconsin Badgers, who barely escaped the first round last year against Wofford, faces another tough challenge tomorrow when it meets 13th seeded Belmont in at the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona. Thursday's showdown is scheduled to get underway at 7:27pm ET on truTV. College Basketball Lines have the Badgers listed as a -4.5 college basketball picks favorite; the game total is set at 125.5.
Wisconsin (23-8 overall, 13-5 Big Ten) has had a great deal of success in the first round of play under Head Coach Bo 
Ryan, going 8-2 in openers since 2001, but the Badgers, after back to back ugly losses to close out the season, may be fretting the Bruins.
Ryan's squad had a four game win streak snapped in its regular season finale as Ohio State destroyed them 65-93 in Columbus. The Badgers were equally unimpressive, at least offensively, in their first Big Ten tournament contest, losing to Penn State 33-36.
Wisconsin (68.2 ppg, 58.3 ppga), which placed third in the Big Ten regular season standings, got 26 points from leading scorers Jon Leuer and Jordan Taylor against the Nittany Lions; the rest of the team combined for seven points on 3-of-14 shooting.
Belmont comes into this contest having won its last 12 games. The Bruins, which cruised to the Atlantic Sun regular season title with a 19-1 conference record, garnered their fourth NCAA Tournament berth since 2006 by winning the league tournament's championship game 87-46 over North Florida.
Belmont (80.4 ppg, 61.9 ppga), one of the nation's top three point shooting teams (38.7 percent from beyond the arc), last saw NCAA Tournament action in 2008 when it lost to Duke 70-71 in the first round. The Bison are 0-3 in their three Big Dance appearances.
The winner of this Southeast four versus 13 seed clash will face either Kansas State or Utah State in the third round.
