The Morehead State Eagles won Tuesday night's play-in game to earn a shot at the NCAA Tournament's top seed, the Louisville Cardinals. The game is set to tip off at 7:10pm ET on Friday at the University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio. Morehead State lived to fight another day by earning their fourth straight win on Tuesday night. The Eagles thumped Alabama State 58-43 in the play-in game in Dayton, Ohio.

The Ohio Valley Conference tournament winners out rebounded the Hornets 47 to 26 and forced them into 2-of-15 shooting from beyond the arc. Morehead forwards Leon Buchanan and Kenneth Faried dominated the game, combining for 28 points and 29 rebounds.

The Eagles, now 20-15 overall, are listed at +50000 moneyline odds to reach the Sweet 16.

Louisville finished the year with a 16-2 Big East record and a 28-5 overall mark; both tallies were good enough for a first place finish in the venerable conference. The Cardinals earned the top seed in the NCAA Tournament after winning last week's Big East tournament in New York. Louisville defeated Syracuse 76-66 in the finale to garner their first Big East tournament crown.
