2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament Round 1 Thursday Games: College basketball's annual spring fever, the Madness of March, begins Thursday at sites across the country, and on CBS television. Then Richmond, an at-large out of the A-10, plays St. Mary's, champs of the West Coast Conference, in Providence in the 7/10 game in the South (3). And Butler, perfect champions of the Horizon League, squares off with UTEP, an at-large bid out of C-USA, in the 5/12 game in the West out in San Jose (4:55).

And Georgetown, an at-large choice out of the Big East, plays Ohio, champs of the MAAC, in Providence in the 3/14 game in the Midwest (7:25).

Then New Mexico, an at-large out of the MWC, battles Big Sky champion Montana in San Jose in the 3/14 game in the East (9:50) And Tennessee, at-largers out of the SEC, and Mountain West champion San Diego State play the final game of the day in the 6/11 match in the Midwest in Providence (9:55).
