Senior guard Greivis Vasquez leds a group of four Terrapins that average double figures in scoring. The Venezuela native posted totals of 19.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game during the regular season.
Maryland has not dropped a first round game since falling 66-75 to Charleston in 1997. They are 9-0 since that setback, winning by an average of 11 points per game.
