Okalhoma State worked their way to a fifth place finish in the Big 12 conference after going 9-7 against league foes. The Cowboys garnered wins 21 and 22 on the season in the Big 12 championship last week, beating Iowa State and Oklahoma before falling 59-67 to Missouri in the semifinals. As a result, Travis Ford's squad enters today's contest having won eight of their last 10.

The Pokes, who are 4-3 in neutral site games, averaged 81.1 points per game while giving up an average of 74.2 to their opposition. They are led by guards James Anderson and Byron Eaton. Anderson, a sophomore, goes for 18.6 points per outing; the senior Eaton dishes out 5.5 assists per game.
