The Wisconsin Badgers and the Xavier Musketeers will face each other today in an East Region battle in Boise, Idaho. The game is scheduled to get underway at 2:20pm ET at the Taco Bell Arena and will be broadcast live on CBS. If the 12th seeded Badgers can pull off another upset, they will move on to face either Pittsburgh or Oklahoma State in Boston next weekend.

Wisconsin shocked quite a few people on Friday night when they upset and upended Florida State in Boise. It took the Badgers an extra period to do it, but they still were able to score a 61-59 win over the Seminoles. The victory was Wisconsin's 20th in 32 games and it was their third in four neutral site affairs.

The Badgers, who had four players in double figures in scoring, did not have a tremendous offensive game, but they stiffled the Florida State offense just enough to secure the win. The Seminoles only got off 46 shots from the field and other than Toney Douglas, who had 26 points, they could not do much against the Badgers defense. Guard Jason Bohannon carried Wisconsin on offense, scoring 16 points on 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc.

Unlike Wisconsin, Xavier did not generate an upset or survive a close game. The Musketeers did what they were suppose to do and routed an inferior Portland State team 77-59 on Friday in Boise. The easy win was Xavier's fifth in their last seven games and it moved their overall record to 26-7 on the season. The Musketeers are now 4-2 in neutral site action.

Xavier also had four players hit double figures in points and it was no surprise given that they shot 53.7 percent from the field as a team and dropped 8-of-19 from three point range. Combo guards B.J. Raymond and C.J. Anderson did most of the damage, accounting for 27 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.
