Kansas State Wildcats 2010 Final Four Odds, Picks & Predictions: It has been a long time coming for what used to be a great basketball program, but the moment is finally here for Kansas State. Kansas State, a once storied basketball school with four Final Four appearances under its belt, has been a veritable hoops 
wasteland for the better part of the past 10 years. That changed when the Wildcats hired Bob Huggins to coach the team a few years ago and subsequently handed the program over to Hugs' protege, Frank Martin, when the former departed to West Virginia. Martin was on the bench when the team got a Tournament win over USC in 2008 and he oversaw a 22-12 NIT qualifier last year.
In just two short seasons, Martin has crafted Kansas State into a 25 plus game winner and a two seed in the NCAA's. While those accomplishments are certainly fruits of Martin's labors, the Tournament run his Wildcats are currently piecing together is the type of result the fiery coach is really after. He has instilled the same desire in his players, who scored easy wins over North Texas and BYU to reach the Sweet Sixteen.
"The thing we're doing here is phenomenal," forward Curtis Kelly said. "But there's a lot more to be done."
Kelly is obviously referring to the Final Four, a place the Wildcats have not been since 1964. Two more wins and Martin will have revived Kansas State far sooner than anyone envisioned, including a Wildcat fan base that was uncertain about the coaches hire a little over two years ago.
