Washington vs West Virginia Sweet Sixteen 2010 NCAA Tournament Predictions, Picks & Odds: It is the overrated Big East versus the undervalued Pac-10 tonight as the West Virginia Mountaineers and Washington Huskies meet at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York. Washington won its ninth straight game last weekend, smashing three seed New Mexico 82-64. The Huskies, which are 
averaging 81 points per game in the Tournament, had four players in double figures in the win. They also shot 48.5 percent from the floor and a stellar 8-of-17 from three point range.
Forward Quincy Pondexter led the way for Washington with 18 points and five rebounds. Point guard Isaiah Thomas, who had 19 points and eight assists in the Huskies first round win over Marquette, added 15 points and seven assists against the Lobos.
West Virginia got past the 10th seeded Missouri Tigers 68-59 in their second round game. The Mountaineers survived the Tigers trademark pressure, only turning the ball over 10 times. Bob Huggins' squad did not shoot particularly well, hitting just 40 percent of its field goal attempts, but they limited Mizzou to 33 percent on 61 shot attempts.
Da'Sean Butler led West Virginia to its eighth straight win, pumping in 28 points while grabbing eight rebounds. Butler, who had just nine point in the Mountaineers first round victory against Morgan State, hit 12 of his 13 free throw attempts against the Tigers.
West Virginia will be without point guard Darryl Bryant for the rest of the Tournament. The sophomore, who scored eight points and had four assists in the team's first two Torunament games, broke a bone in his foot during practice this week.
