Star forward Evan Turner had 24 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists for Ohio State. Guard Jon Diebler, who had 23 points on 7-of-12 three point shooting in the Buckeyes win over the Gauchos, added 20.

Ohio State is 12-1 all-time in regional semifinals play, losing only to St. John's in 1990.
