Gonzaga got an easy 77-64 opening round win against the Akron Zips, but they found the competition to be a little bit stiffer in the round of 32. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers had all but ended the Zags season when freshman Demetri Goodson dropped in a game winning layup with .9 seconds left on the clock.
