Syracuse and Oklahoma are set to meet tonight in a South Region battle in Memphis, Tennessee. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:27pm ET at the FedEX Forum and will be broadcast live on CBS. The victor in this evening's contest will advance to meet either North Carolina or Gonzaga in the Elite Eight.

Syracuse moved on to the Sweet 16 with relative ease, thrashing Stephen F. Austin 59-44 in the first round of action and overcoming a quality Arizona State squad 78-67 in the second. The Orange hit 55.3 percent from the field and 9-of-20 from beyond the arc in disposing of the Sun Devils last weekend. They had five players score in double figures, led by Eric Devendorf. The junior guard hit 5-of-11 three point attempts in route to 21 points. Syracuse also outrebounded ASU 30 to 23 in the big win.
Oklahoma made their way to Memphis by virtue of their first round win over Morgan State and their round of 32 victory against the Michigan Wolverines. The Sooners garnered their 28th and 29th wins in the process of advancing to the Sweet 16 and they moved their neutral site record to an impressive 6-1 on the season.
Jeff Capel's team is averaging 79.1 points per game this year while yielding 67.3 per outing to opponents.
Oklahoma had just three players in double figures in their 73-63 win over the Wolverines, but they did not need a tremendous amount of offense from their supporting cast. Forward Blake Griffin dominated the game, scoring 33 points and grabbing 17 rebounds while hitting 14-of-20 from the floor. As a team the Sooners hit 49 percent from the field as they limited Michigan to 39.3 percent.
