Butler, which has won 24 straight games, was out-rebounded in every Tournament game save its Regional Final win over Kansas State on Saturday; however, the Bulldogs made up for their lack of rebounding by forcing an average of 15.3 turnovers per game, including 18 in their win over top seeded Syracuse.
Forward Gordon Hayward has been the biggest offensive threat for Butler thus far, averaging 16 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in the team's four Tournament victories. Hayward had his best game in the Regional Final, scoring 22 points and grabbing nine boards against the Wildcats.
