As the Final Four teams and their fans descend upon the Alamodome in San Antonio, it’s safe to say that the best of the best will be competing for the NCAA basketball crown. The four top seeds from the East, South, Midwest and West regions were the last teams standing, meaning that we should be in for some great basketball this Saturday.  Bet on the Final Four at SportsBetting.com.

In the first of the two Final Four match-ups, the Memphis Tigers (No. 1 in South) will take on the UCLA Bruins (tops of the West) with the Tigers as a 2½-point favorite and the Total set at 134½. UCLA has been even in this tournament in terms of the line and total, going 2-2 against the spread and on the Over/Under.

While Memphis has also gone .500 ATS during the tournament, it has gone Over the Total in four straight March Madness games. In terms of its record against the spread, the larger the point spread, the less likely Memphis covers, at least as the far as the Tigers’ tournament numbers go.

Consider this:

- Memphis was listed as a prohibitive 25½-point favorite in its tourney opener against Texas-Arlington and failed to cover.

- A similar situation occurred in the second round when the Tigers beat Mississippi St. 77-74 but failed to cover the 9½-point spread.

- But with the line shrinking to 5½-points against Michigan St. in the Sweet 16, the Tigers covered in a 92-74 victory.

- In the Elite Eight and favored by 3½-points, Memphis again won by a large margin in an 85-67 win over Texas.

If the Tigers follow the same script covering the 2½-points is in the cards.

As it stands, the Tigers are getting a majority of the betting volume at SportsBetting.com with 57% of bettors wagering on Memphis.

The second Final Four tilt sees the Kansas Jayhawks taking on the North Carolina Tar Heels with UNC listed at -3½.

The hype surrounding the Tar Heels has only built as the tournament moved on:

- UNC is listed as the odds-on to win the entire tournament at +160 heading into the Final Four matchups.

- Tyler Hansbrough was named an All-American and AP College Basketball Player of the Year and has backed it all up with his play in the tournament. In fact, Hansbrough is the odds-on favorite to win the MVP at +200.

UNC has covered in all of its tournament games and is an impressive 20-8 ATS in its last 28 games, while they have gone Over the number in three out of its last four. Perhaps not surprisingly, the Tar Heels are seeing a healthy 65% of the wagering action on this game at SportsBetting.com. The final few days of the college basketball season is here and the NCAA’s best should provide bettors and fans with some classic hoops.
