LSU forwards Glen Davis and Tasmin Mitchell both contributed 16 points apiece to lead the Tigers to a 66-49 victory over UCONN in Baton Rouge the teams previous game on Saturday. Davis, recovering from the normal bumps and bruises associated with Saturday’s game but now complicated by the soreness from an early Sunday morning automobile accident, went through a Monday practice session without any apparent difficulties. Bet on College Basketball at Bodog"We were very afraid that he had broken some ribs or had some serious damage, and we're very fortunate that he wasn't hurt too badly. He's a little sore, but other than that, he should be fine to play, and we expect him to play against Alabama," said LSU Coach John Brady. "That game doesn't have much bearing on our preparations for this game," said Brady. "Not to take anything away from Arkansas, but I know that Alabama is a much better team than what they showed the other night. They're a very talented and very well coached team. Arkansas certainly didn't do us any favors, since we have to face them now. I'm sure they've made some adjustments, and we've just got to do what we can to get ready for this game." The Tide is slightly favored by a -3 ½ point chalk at most offshore sportsbooks with a total of 134. Alabama has only covered the line against the spread in 4-of-10 games this season while the OVER/UNDER has split 5-5 on the totals. The Tigers have played 12 games listed on the offshore betting board and have covered five ATS. The UNDER has been slightly prevalent in games the Tigers played cashing in 7-of-12 games.
