BCS OddsThe bookmakers at BetUs.com made the LSU Tigers the early BCS odds favorites by 3.5 points over the Ohio State Buckeyes in the BCS Championship Game.  LSU has a 3-0 BCS record with three Sugar Bowl victories in the Louisiana Superdome, one over Oklahoma for the 2004 BCS national title.

“The LSU Tigers will look to pound the ball but could find the going tough,” stated Point-Spreads.com BCS Odds Expert Michael Alexander when asked about the Ohio State Buckeyes vs LSU Tigers National Championship Game. “That's going to put the pressure on QB Matt Flynn who has been inconsistent and isnt the drop back passer that Chris Leak was for Florida last year.”

LSU has had issues getting into the backfield of their competition but the defensive coaches will be turning the dogs loose against the Ohio State Buckeyes Quarterback Todd Boeckman.  This will leave the Buckeyes wide receivers in one on one coverage against the LSU secondary.  Boeckman will struggle if he is pressured and could throw several interceptions in the BCS Championship Game.  Online sportsbook BetUs.com has made the BCS odds on the total in the Ohio State vs LSU 48 points.

The LSU Tigers are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games on turf and are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 non-conference games. The Tigers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Bowl games and are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite. The Tigers are 1-5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

BetUS.com has posted the following BCS Odds on the Ohio State Buckeyes vs LSU Tigers Championship Game:

Ohio State Buckeyes: +3.5

LSU Tigers: -3.5

Total: 48 Points

Ohio State Money Line: +145

LSU Tigers Money Line: -165
