Tulsa Golden Hurricane – 2010 C-USA College Football Predictions: The Tulsa University Golden Hurricane bring an exciting brand of football that has led the nation in total offense in two of the past three seasons under head coach Todd Graham. In 2008, TU ranked No. 1 in the country with an average of 570 yards per game, and they were second in the NCAA with 47.4 points per game.
Tulsa has posted a 31-12 record, a 72 winning percentage, inside H.A. Chapman Stadium since the 2003 season. The mark includes four seasons where the team lost just one home game. The home opener for the Golden Hurricane will be Sept. 11th against Bowling Green.

With Johnson going over 1,000 yards receiving last year, it gave Tulsa a 1,000- yard receiver in three straight seasons for the first time ever. In 2007, Brennan Marion (1,244), Trae Johnson (1,088) and Charles Clay (1,024) surpassed 1,000 receiving yards and in 2008 Marion went over 1,000 yards again with 1,112 yards.
Tulsa’s defense allowed just nine rushing touchdowns all of last season, tops in C-USA. The unit did not allow a touchdown on the ground through the first 27 quarters of the season.
The Golden Hurricane had a quartet of freshmen – defensive end Cory Dorris, free safety Dexter McCoil, center Trent Dupy and wide receiver Ricky Johnson were named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team last season.
Junior kicker Kevin Fitzpatrick missed just one field goal attempt last season, going 13-of-14. He also connected on 42-of-44 extra-point tries to finish with an 81-point season, second among league placekickers.
