2010 College Football Predictions Odds to Win C-USA: East Carolina has won back-to-back C-USA titles, beating Tulsa in the 2008 championship game and Houston in last year's contest. The Pirates were a dog on both occasions, but won the two games by a combined nine points. Houston Cougars (-190): Houston was the favorite to win the conference last season, but disappointed with regular season 
losses to UTEP and UCF and the championship game setback against ECU. The 2010 Cougars have something to prove after the way things ended in 2009 and they should be able to do it with 14 starters and 46 lettermen returning. Among the returnees is second team All American Case Keenum, who threw for 5671 yards and 44 touchdowns as a junior. Houston averaged 42.2 points and 563 yards per game last season, with Keenum back at the controls those numbers could, shockingly, improve.
Central Florida Knights (+550): Central Florida finished second to East Carolina in the East Division last season with a 6-2 conference record. Head Coach George O'Leary welcomes 15 starters and 46 lettermen back from last year's 8-5 team, making the Knights the most likely candidate to emerge from the East. UCF has improved defensively every season under O'Leary's watch and could be special this year with the return of C-USA Defensive Player of the Year Bruce Miller. The offense, despite having a new signal caller, could realize improvement as well with four starters upfront and leading rusher Brynn Harvey (1109 yards, 14 tocuhdowns) all back in the fold.
