USC vs Hawai'i 2010 College Football Picks, Odds & Predictions: The embattled USC Trojans kick start a new era tomorrow night as they take on the WAC's Hawai'i Warriors in Honolulu. The game, which caps off college football's opening night, is scheduled to get underway at 11:00pm ET on ESPN. 2010 College Football Picks, Odds & Predictions at Sportsbook.com have the Trojans listed as a -21.5 against the spread road favorite and the game total set at 54.

USC has received a great deal of attention of late, but for all the wrong reasons. The athletic department has been dealing USC vs Hawai'i 2010 College Football Picks, Odds & Predictionswith a host of troubles, ranging from football and basketball probabtions to Heisman Trophy retractions.

The football team, which cannot participate in postseason action for the next two seasons, can start to put some of its off the field woes behind it tomorrow evening at Aloha Stadium. New Head Coach Lane Kiffin, who has his some character question marks of his own, will take the field with what many believe is the most talented roster in the Pac 10.

The Trojans have 10 starters and 54 lettermen back from last year's 9-4 squad, including a healthy Matt Barkley (QB), who many are predicting will rebound from a pedestrian true freshman campaign.

USC's defense, which will operate under the guidance of the legendary Monte Kiffin, should again be one of the nation's premiere units. While the secondary has a few question marks, the front seven will dominate most of its opposition.

Hawai'i fell below the .500 mark for the first time since 2005 last year after finishing up with a 6-7 record. The Warriors did win four of their last five, though, and figure to be stronger this year with 12 starters and 48 lettermen returning to play for third year coach Greg McMackin.

Hawai'i, despite any improvement it may realize in 2010, will have difficulty keeping pace with USC. The Warriors offensive line has four new starters, which does not bode well for quarterback Bryant Moniz and the offense tomorrow night. McMackin's squad had difficulty putting points on the board last year against the better defenses it faced (Boise State 9, Wisconsin 10), and that will be true against the Trojans as well.

2010 College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Hawai'i is 1-5 against the spread and 0-6 straight up over the last five years as a home dog of +10 or more.
