Oregon State has been a consistent winner under Head Coach Mike Riley's watch, winning eight or more games the last four

Riley does have a new signal caller in Ryan Katz, but the sophomore has two of the best skill position players in the country to lean on in James and Jacquizz Rodgers. He also has a veteran offensive line in front of him that may be the best in the Pac 10.
That said, Oregon State may be in trouble in tomorrow evening's showdown. The Beavers have been notoriously slow road starters the past few seasons, losing four of their last five away openers by an average of 31.5 points per game.
Another reason for concern is the fact that Gary Patterson has transformed TCU into one of the best football teams in the nation. The Horned Frogs are 23-3 over the past two years and nearly went undefeated a season ago, losing only to Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl.
Patterson has 16 starters and 54 lettermen back, giving him another powerhouse club. TCU's formidable defense should be able to neutralize the Rodgers' brothers while quaterback Andy Dalton and company put more than their fair share of points on the scoreboard.
