The Oregon State Beavers , after dismantling the Utah Utes last Thursday 24-7 thus covering the -6.0 point line ATS, make their first foray out of Corvallis for another nationally televised ESPN Thursday night game when they play BIG EAST member Cincinnati. The Beavers are favored by oddsmakers at online sports wagering giant Bodog.com by a -3 ½ point chalk ATS. No offshore money lines or totals were available at the time of publishing but Las Vegas Sports Consultants had the Beavers as a -170 ml favorite with a 45 total. The Bearcats are getting +150 ml juice as the home underdog according to LVSC. The Bearcats were successful in their season opener by defeating Southeast Missouri State 59-3. Current betting trends show 82 percent of early wagers going to the Beavers. 

With the graduation of 15 seniors from its 2006 two-deep roster, including 10 senior starters, there are plenty of new faces on the field for Cincinnati this season. The Bearcats have had to replace four offensive starters, four defensive starters, and their punter, long snapper and kicker from a class that went to two bowl games.

Coming off a 10-4 campaign a year ago, seventh-year head coach Mike Riley is 39-34 (.534) including three bowl victories with the Beavers. Cincinnati coach Brian Kelly, after a successful run as head coach of Central Michigan is in his first year heading the Bearcats program.

Oregon State enters the contest winners of nine of its last 10 games and has the Pac-10’s longest active win streak at five games. Cincinnati has won four straight, the second-longest streak in its conference to Louisville with five.
