Georgia vs Oklahoma State College Football Predictions, Odds & Picks: The No. 13 Georgia Bulldogs square off against the No. 9 Oklahoma State Cowboys today in the most anticipated matchup of the weekend. The two power conference teams will kick things off at 3:30pm ET at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma (ABC). Sportsbetting.com has the Pokes listed as a -5.5 against the spread favorite in their college football predictions, odds & picks.

Last year Oklahoma State finished with nine wins for just the secondGeorgia vs Oklahoma State College Football Predictions, Odds & Picks time this decade, going 9-4 overall and 5-3 in conference play. The Cowboys were led by a powerful offense that featured quarterback Zac Robinson (3064 pass yards, 562 rush yards), running back Kendall Hunter (1555 yards, 16 touchdowns), and wide receiver Dez Bryant (87 catches, 1480 yards, 19 touchdowns). All three of those players are back this year, along with one of the best offensive lines in the country.

The Cowboys front five allowed just 16 sacks a season ago and were intrumental in producing an average of 245 rush yards per game (5.5 yards per carry).

Oklahoma State's defense had some lackluster numbers playing in the Big 12, allowing 28.1 points and 406 yards per game. Five starters are back from that unit, which will be coached by new defensive coordinator Bill Young.

The Georgia Bulldogs closed out the 2008 season at 10-3 after getting a 24-12 win over Michigan State in the Cap One Bowl. Head Coach Mark Richt has 15 starters and 49 lettermen from last year's team back in Athens this season. Among those gone, however, are quarterback Matthew Stafford, who was selected first overall in the NFL draft, and running back Knowshon Moreno.

Senior passer Joe Cox will replace Stafford under center while sophomore Caleb King will assume Moreno's role in the backfield. Cox played sparingly last season, completing 11 passes in 15 attemtps for 151 yards and two touchdowns.

The Georgia defense has eight starters back and should improve on last year's mediocre numbers (24.5 points and 312 yards per game allowed). The unit will be anchored by first team SEC linebacker Rennie Curran. Curran led the Bulldogs with 115 tackles in 2008; he also had three sacks and seven tackles for loss.

Game Note: Bulldogs quarterback Cox has battled flu like symptoms this week and traveled to Stillwater seperately from the team. He is, however, suppose to start the game. Oklahoma State lost one of their starting linebackers, Orie Lemon, to a torn ACL last week while their starting tight end left the team for undisclosed reasons.
