College Football Picks: Nebraska at Wake ForestCollege football picks experts will be looking closely at the line as the Nebraska Cornhuskers head into Wake Forest with a lot of momentum due to their college football week 1 romp over Nevada 52-10 at home. Granted, the Nevada Wolf Pack is not a college football picks powerhouse, but wins like this can only boost the confidence of the Cornhuskers. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are listed as - 8 point road favorites at WagerWeb.com.

"I think Wake Forest is in trouble for this game," said college football picks expert Reno Goldberg of Point-Spreads.com. "Bill Calahan has been in Lincoln long enough to have recruited the type players to play his style of football and wow, did it show in their game with Nevada-Reno. Wake will come out fired up and play hard but the Huskers strength will prevail. I see Nebraska covering the -7.0 spread and winning by a couple of touchdowns.

Nebraska racked up an amazing 625 yards last week, and Sam Keller was 14-for-25 for 193 yards, one touchdown and a pick. Keller may be able to throw less if Marlon Lucky carries the ball like he did in College Football Week 1. Marion Lucky ran for 233 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries, allowing Nebraska to hold the ball for over 40 minutes.

The ACC's Wake Forest Demon Deacons fell 38-28 at Boston College in their season opener, committing four turnovers in a sloppy game. Riley Skinner was the main culprit with three interceptions to go with 236 yards and a touchdown on 28-for-37 passing, and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons will not last long in the ACC if they continue to give the ball up to their opponents.

"I think the ACC is a little down right now," said Goldberg. "Nebraska would have easily won the ACC last year in a season that was a debacle for the league. I didn't think anybody wanted to win the thing. I guarantee you, Nebraska will not find their trip to Winston-Salem very intimidating."
