Sophomore running back Adam Robinson also had his way against the Eastern Illinois defense as he finished the day with 109 rush yards and three touchdowns.
The Hawkeyes defense held the Panthers to six first downs and 157 total yards in 27:42 time of possession.
Despite the Hawkeyes being the more storied football power, the Cyclones have more than held their own in this rivalry series. Iowa holds a 7-6 advantage, but the Cyclones have covered the number nine times in the 13 meetings, including five in a row prior to last year's 35-3 loss.
