College Football Point Spreads Week 3

tennessee brayCollege Football Point Spreads Week 3 kicks off on Thursday night with a Big East meeting between Rutgers and South Florida at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Bulls are presently listed as a -9.5 against the spread favorite in the conference clash. The action continues on Friday when Washington State and UNLV square off at Sam Boyd Stadium in Sin City and then Saturday when 24 of the nation’s top 25 teams take to the gridiron. There are three games this weekend pitting top 25 squads against one another as No. 18 Florida takes on No. 23 Tennessee, No. 2 USC face faces No. 21 Stanford, and No. 20 Notre Dame battle No. 10 Michigan State.

Florida Gators vs Tennessee Volunteers (-3): Most College Football Picks would have listed the Gators as a favorite in this contest prior to the season’s kick off, but right now they have the hosting Volunteers favored by three points. Two mediocre performances from Will Muschamp’s crew coupled with two impressive outings from Derek Dooley’s Volunteers has altered the perception of these two teams as they prepare for Saturday’s meeting. Florida looked asleep at the wheel in a 27-14 win over Bowling Green in its opener, and it just slipped by Texas A&M 20-17 this weekend in a game where it finished with fewer yards than its host. Conversely, Tennessee throttled a respected NC State squad 35-21 in its opener as Tyler Bray threw for 333 yards and two touchdowns, and it smashed FCS school Georgia State 51-13 on Saturday. The Volunteers are seeking revenge here as well, having lost seven in a row to the Gators, including the last three at Neyland Stadium.
