Air Force vs Minnesota College Football Predictions, College Football Odds & College Football Picks: The Air Force Falcons will land at the TCF Bank Stadium tomorrow to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Both squads are 1-0 entering the contest after securing non-conference wins last Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00pm ET; the game will be broadcast live on the Big 10 Network. Air Force stormed out of the gates last weekend, blasting the Freshman quarterback Tim Jefferson completed 5-of-7 for 102 yards and a touchdown and he ran for 22 yards on five carries. Five Falcons ran for over 50 yards, led by Connor Dietz, who had 83 yards on seven carries. The Air Force defense was just as impressive as the offense. The unit limited the Colonels to 151 total yards and one third down conversion while also creating four turnovers. Minnesota did not have the type of dominating win that Air Force posted, but it looks just the same in the standings. The Golden Gophers squeaked by the Syracuse Orange 23-20 in overtime. Sloppy play on the part of Minnesota allowed the Orange to stay close as Tim Brewster's troops had 10 penalties and two turnovers. Quarterback Adam Weber had a medicore outing, going 19-of-42 for 248 yards, one touchdown and an interception. He leaned heavily on star wideout Eric Decker, who had nine catches for 183 yards. The Gophers defense held the Orange to 257 yards and also scored a huge interception against quarterback Greg Paulus in overtime to secure the win.
