Carolina and Georgia are coming off blowout week-1 wins at home, Georgia routing Louisiana-Lafayette 55-7 while USC took care of Southern Mississippi 41-13. The Gamecocks and Bulldogs have opened their SEC seasons against each other since USC joined the league in 1992. Georgia holds an all-time 46-12-2 edge in the series.

In his Georgia debut, Aaron Murray completed 17-of-26 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns against Louisiana-Lafayette.
The Gamecocks owe Georgia one. They have the more balanced team on both sides of the ball. The problem with USC is in execution. One never knows what will show up from one Saturday to the next.
