TCU Horned Frogs vs Air Force Academy Falcons

The TCU Horned Frogs, smarting from a good old Texas sized licking down in Austin last week, look to get back on the winning track when they travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., to take on the Air Force Academy in a Thursday night tilt to be televised on CSTV-PPV. The Frogs, one of the favorites expected to vie for the Mountain West Conference title this year, easily dominated the Falcons last year in a 38-14 win at home in Fort Worth. TCU is favored across the offshore board; however, lines vary up to a full point at different books.

After opening -7.0, offshore sportsbook Bodog.com is now offering TCU at -8 ½ while Sportsbook.com has the line a half point less at -8.0 with a 42 total. Money line prices should be available across the board a few hours prior to kickoff. 

After playing two games this season, TCU is 1-1 both SU and ATS. The Frogs opened with a 27-0 SU win over the Baylor Bears on Sept 1, covering ATS as a -22 ½ chalk home favorite. In the Texas game TCU failed to win SU or cover as a +8.0 point road underdog. 

The Falcons hit the road last week opening MWC play at Utah and coming away with a 20-12 SU win and covering as a +7.0 road underdog. The Falcons opened against sub-division South Carolina State winning 34-3 SU. 

Air Force has struggled while playing on Thursday night going 2-8 all-time. The Falcons snapped a seven game losing streak on Thursday's with last year's 24-21 win over Colorado State. 

Air Force and TCU are meeting for the seventh time overall and fourth time as conference foes. The Horned Frogs have a 4-1-1 record in the series, including a 3-0 mark in conference games.
