Wake Forest vs Stanford 2010 College Football Picks, 2010 College Football Predictions & 2010 College Football Odds: Wake Forest hosted Stanford last season in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, but tomorrow they will take on the Cardinal in California as the two BCS schools hook up at Stanford Stadium. This ACC/Pac 10 clash is scheduled to get underway at 11:15pm ET on ESPN2. 2010 College Football Picks, Predictions & Odds at Sportsbook.com have the Cardinal listed as a -17.5 against the spread home favorite; the game total is presently set at 60.

Wake Forest, which averaged just 26.3 points per game a season ago, has scored a combined 107 points in its first two Wake Forest vs Stanford 2010 College Football Picks, Predictions & Oddsgames of the season, both of which were wins. The Demon Deacons bested conference foe Duke 54-48 last weekend at BB & T Field as true freshman quarterback Tanner Price completed 12-of-19 passes for 190 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.

Price replaced an ineffective Ted Stachitas, at least throwing the ball — he did lead the team in rushing with 77 yards in nine carries — who threw for zero yards and one interception.

Wake's defense, in spite of the win, left much to be desired, giving up 22 first downs and 487 yards to the Blue Devils. The Demon Deacons did, however, produce four turnovers, including three picks of Duke quarterback Sean Renfree.

Stanford also comes into this tilt with a 2-0 record after thrashing Sacramento State 52-17 and UCLA 35-0. The Cardinal were impressive in both games, but the blanking of Pac 10 rival UCLA was noteworthy.

Stanford outgained the Bruins 362 to 233 and it enjoyed a 36:51 to 23:09 time of possession advantage after forcing four UCLA turnovers (two interceptions, two fumbles).

Quarterback Andrew Luck had another big game for Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, throwing for 151 yards and two touchdowns while gaining 63 yards on seven carries.

Wake Forest won last year's meeting between these two schools 24-17 after racking up 458 yards against the Cardinal defense. The Demon Deacons did see Luck complete 23-of-34 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns; however, they held the now departed Toby Gerhart to 82 rush yards and no scores.

2010 College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Stanford is 10-0 straight up and against the spread in its last 10 games playing as a home favorite in the month of September.
