California vs Minnesota College Football Predictions, College Football Picks & College Football Odds: The Pac-10's California Golden Bears are in Minnesota this weekend to take on the Big 10's Golden Gophers. The two BCS squads will kick things off tomorrow at 12:00pm ET at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis (ESPN). College Football Predictions at SBGglobal.com have the No. 8 Bears listed as a -13.5 against the spread road favorite.

The Golden Bears enter tomorrow's contest with a 2-0 record after California vs Minnesota College Football Predictions, Picks & Oddspounding Eastern Washington 59-7 last Saturday in Berkeley. Cal posted 507 yards, converted five of nine third downs, and recorded 27 first downs. The ground game racked up 342 yards (7.4 yards per carry) as running back Jahvid Best led the team with 144 yards on just 17 carries.

Quarterback Kevin Riley had an efficient outing, completing 13-of-20 for 148 yards and a touchdown.

The Bears defense held the Eagles to 235 total yards and limited the ground game to 14 rush yards (0.5 yards per carry). Cal's defense has allowed just 20 points in two games and also recorded 10 sacks.

Despite Cal's lofty expectations and superior talent, Riley downplayed the fact that this game could get ugly for the home team.

"We're playing a good team in their new stadium," Riley said. "It's going to be a good environment. It's going to be fun."

Minnesota also enters tomorrow's tilt with a 2-0 record, but they have achieved it in a far less impressive fashion. The Gophers needed overtime in week one to get by Syracuse at the Carrier Dome, and they required two fourth quarter touchdowns last week in order to christen their new stadium with a 20-10 win over Air Force.

The Gophers posted 327 yards in last Saturday's victory, but they yielded 386 and gave up 24 first downs.

Quarterback Adam Weber rebounded from a pedestrian effort against the Orange as he completed 20-of-29 passes for 219 yards. He did not have any touchdowns, but he also avoided any costly turnovers. Wideout Eric Decker also made his presence felt, as he usually does, with a 10 catch 113 yard effort.

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: The Gophers are 0-6 straight up and 2-4 against the spread when playing as a home dog with a spread between 11 and 13.5. The Over is 5-1 in those contests.
