NCAA Football Point Spreads 2012 Week 4

clemson boydNCAA Football Point Spreads 2012 Week 4 should feature more than its share of excitement with four games between top 25 squads set for this weekend. Perhaps the most important of those meetings will take place on Saturday night in Tallahassee when No. 10 Clemson squares off against No. 4 Florida State. The ACC clash is scheduled to kick off at 8:00pm ET on ABC. College Football Point Spreads are favoring the hosting Seminoles by two touchdowns in the critical conference contest.

No. 10 Clemson Tigers vs No. 4 Florida State Seminoles (-14): Florida State was a prohibitive favorite to win the ACC last season, but the Seminoles title hopes were squashed almost immediately when they opened league play with a 30-35 loss at Clemson. The Tigers’ offense surprised FSU’s vaunted defense as it tallied 26 first downs and 443 total yards while holding the ball for 35:30. The Seminoles played without starting quarterback E.J. Manuel, who was injured the week before in a 13-23 home loss to Oklahoma, but they got a solid effort out of back up Clint Trickett nonetheless. Trickett completed 24-of-36 passes for 336 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Both teams enter Saturday’s game with 3-0 records, but the Seminoles have been slightly more impressive, beating their opposition by an average of 57.6 points per game. FSU has won seven of the last eight between these programs in Tallahassee, but Clemson has covered the number in two of the last three at Doak Campbell Stadium. The Seminoles, however, are 4-1 against the spread as a double digit College Football Picks home favorite against the Tigers.
