Connecticut vs Baylor College Football Picks, College Football Odds & College Football Predictions: The Connecticut Huskies are in Waco, Texas today to take on the Baylor Bears. UConn got the better of the Bears in East Hartford last year, winning 31-28, but Baylor easily covered the +13 spread. The roles are reversed this afternoon as college football picks at Bodog.com have the Bears listed as a -10.5 against the spread home favorite. Today game is scheduled to get underway at 5:00pm ET at the 50,000 seat Floyd Casey Stadium.

Connecticut suffered a gut-wrenching home loss last weekend, Connecticut vs Baylor College Football Picks, Odds & Predictionslosing 12-10 to No. 19 North Carolina. The Huskies had a 10 point lead going into the fourth quarter, but were unable to keep the Tar Heels at bay in the final frame. UConn's offense did little to win the game, though, managing just 13 first downs and 196 total yards.

Quarterback Zach Frazer had a sub-par day, completing 11-of-19 pass attempts for 94 yards and an interception. Fate would add injury to insult in Frazer's case too as the junior signal caller hurt his knee in the loss. He will be out of action at least two weeks.

Taking Frazer's place this afternoon against the Bears is sophomore Cody Endres. Endres completed 3-of-7 passes for 30 yards filling in for Frazer last week. Last season Endres saw occasional action; he finished the year 39-of-84 for 411 yards and three interceptions.

The Huskies defense showed well against the Tar Heels, limiting Butch Davis' squad to 268 total yards. UConn squashed North Carolina's ground game as the Heels produced just 35 rush yards (0.9 yards per carry).

Baylor comes into today's game with a 1-0 record after beating Wake Forest 24-21 in Winston-Salem back on September 5th. The Bears generated 366 yards in the victory, 197 of which came on the ground (5.3 yards per carry).

Quarterback Robert Griffin connected on 15 of his 24 pass attempts for 136 yards and a touchdown. He also had 41 yards in 13 carries. Jay Finley aided his field general with a 14 carry, 91 yard performance.

The Bears defense held the Demon Deacons to 269 total yards and they picked off senior quarterback Riley Skinner three times. They also produced three sacks and five tackles for loss.

Baylor nearly self destructed, though, committing 10 penalties, which resulted in 90 yards of setbacks. They also were unable to find the endzone in the fourth quarter, allowing Wake to comeback from a 24-7 deficit.
