Arizona State dropped to 2-1 in heartbreaking fashion over the weekend, losing 20-19 at 11th ranked Wisconsin after having a game tying extra point blocked with 4:09 left in the fourth quarter.
The Sun Devils, which were an 11 point dog against the Badgers, hung in the game by converting 5-of-12 on third down and rushing for 169 yards. Running back Deantre Lewis was a big part of that, racking up 122 yards on just nine carries.
Quarterback Steven Threet, a Michigan transfer, played well in the loss, completing 21-of-33 passes for 211 yards, but he failed to connect on a touchdown strike.
Oregon has won five in a row in this series, including the last three in Tempe by an average of 27.7 points per game.
