Temple vs Penn State 2010 College Football Odds, 2010 College Football Predictions & 2010 College Football Picks: The upstart Temple Owls will take on Keystone State big boy Penn State tomorrow afternoon in Happy Valley. The in-state rivalry clash is set to kickoff at 3:30pm ET at Beaver Stadium; it will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network. 2010 College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks at Sportsbook.com have the Nittany Lions listed as a -14 against the spread home favorite and the game total set at 43.5.

Temple comes into this annual showdown with a 3-0 record after scoring wins over Villanova, Central Michigan, and Connecticut. Temple vs Penn State 2010 College Football Odds, Predictions & PicksThe Owls hosted the Huskies last weekend at Lincoln Financial Field and came away with a 30-16 victory on the strength of another huge outing from running back Bernard Pierce.

Pierce carried the ball 26 times for 169 yards and two touchdowns while also scoring on a 27 yard reception in the second quarter.

Temple, which was a five point dog against UConn, saw the Huskies rush for 240 yards on 42 carries, but it did hold Randy Edsall's squad to 16 first downs and 7-of-18 on third down.

Penn State bounced back from its 24-3 loss to top ranked Alabama with a 24-0 win over Kent State. The struggles of freshman quarterback Robert Bolden continued, despite the victory, as he threw his fourth and fifth interceptions of the season to bring his passer rating to a lackluster 118.01 (79th in the nation).

Evan Royster's difficult season continued as well as the senior tailback rushed for 38 yards on 11 carries, bringing his yardgage total to 110 through three games (31 carries). Royster did find the end zone for the first time this year, though, scoring on a three yard run in the first quarter against the Golden Flashes.

The Nittany Lions defense made up for the poor offensive production, holding Kent State to 12 first downs and 228 total yards while forcing two turnovers.

Temple will look to turn the tide against Penn State tomorrow as the Owls have dropped seven in a row in this series, including last year's 31-6 beat down at State College. The Lions controlled Pierce, limiting the then true freshman to 24 yards on seven carries, and thus the Owls offense, which managed just 251 yards for the game.

2010 College Football Odds Betting Trend: Penn State is 7-3 against the spread and 10-0 straight up in its last 10 games as a home favorite with a spread between 14 and 17.5.
