Boise State vs Bowling Green College Football Odds, College Football Picks & College Football Predictions: Boise State will look to keep their BCS train rolling this weekend as they take on the Bowling Green Falcons tomorrow at Perry Stadium in Bowling Green, Ohio. The Falcons are returning home after two difficult road losses while the Broncos are coming off a conference win at Fresno State. Boise State jumped all over Fresno State last Friday night, leading 24-3 early in the second quarter, but Chris Petersen's squad had to weather a comeback attempt by the Bulldogs late in the first half and into the third quarter. The Broncos finally prevailed 51-34 after racking up 299 rush yards at 10.3 yards per clip. Running backs Jeremy Avery and D.J. Harper led the barrage, combining for 293 yards in 23 carries. Avery also had five receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately for the Broncos, Harper suffered a season ending ACL tear in the win.

Quarterback Kellen Moore had his usual solid outing, completing 18-of-26 for 181 yards and three touchdowns. 

The Boise defense endured an atypical gashing at the hands of Fresno as the Bulldogs amassed 320 rush yards. Ryan Mathews abused a usually stout Broncos front seven, running for 234 yards and three touchdowns in 19 carries.

The Falcons followed up a nice performance against the Missouri Tigers in Columbia with a miserable 10-17 loss to Marshall in Huntington, West Virginia. Bowling Green had more first downs, more yardage, and almost twice as many third down conversions, but could not get the job done against the Thundering Herd. The usual culprit in such a loss is the turnover, but the sinister offender in this case was the Falcons' ground game.

Dave Clawson's crew rushed 20 times for just 10 yards in the loss. Conversely, Marshall racked up 246 rush yards against Bowling Green's defense (6.6 yards per carry).

That stat does not bode well for the Falcons considering Boise State's ability to hit hard with the rushing attack and then burn their opposition with play action passing.

College Football Odds Betting Trend: Bowling Green is 3-0 against the spread playing as an underdog with a spread between 14 and 17.5.
