North Carolina vs Georgia Tech College Football Predictions, College Football Odds & College Football Picks: The North Carolina Tar Heels will play their first conference game this weekend as they meet ACC Coastal division rival Georgia Tech at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta. For the Yellow Jackets it will be their third conference game; they are 1-1 after beating Clemson and losing to Miami. The game is scheduled to get underway at 12:00pm ET this Saturday and can be seen on ESPN360.com. College Football Predictions at Bodog.com have the Yellow Jackets listed as a -3 against the spread favorite.

The Tar Heels improved to 3-0 last Saturday, beating in-state rival East Carolina 31-17 at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill. North Carolina vs Georgia Tech College Football Predictions, Odds & PicksButch Davis' squad had 22 first downs and 433 yards in the win while holding the Pirates to 13 and 247 respectively. Quarterback T.J. Yates had his best game of the season, completing 19-of-24 for 227 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Shaun Draughn looked to be back in form after dismal outing against UConn as he rushed for 84 yards in 19 carries. Draughn has yet to find paydirt this year.

North Carolina continued their red zone perfection in beating East Carolina and are now a perfect 10-for-10 inside the opponent's 20 yard line.

Georgia Tech fell from the rankings last Thursday, losing in horrendous fashion to Miami at Dolphin Stadium. The Hurricanes spanked the Yellow Jackets 33-17 and dominated Paul Johnson's option attack. Tech managed just 228 total yards, but just 95 of that total came via the rush. Even worse, Georgia Tech averaged just 2.9 yards per carry.

Quarterback Josh Nesbitt completed 6-of-15 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown, but he was unable to effectively move the offense through the air once the Hurricanes had shut down the run. The Jackets were also hurt when star running back Jonathan Dwyer went down with a shoulder injury. Dwyer, who ran for 1395 yards a season ago, had just seven yards in five carries.

Dwyer is suppose to play this week, but if he were to go down for any reason, junior tailback Anthony Allen, along with Nesbitt, would get the bulk of the carries. Allen had six carries for 42 yards and a touchdown against Miami.

College Football PredictionsBetting Trends: The Tar Heels are 5-1 against the spread and straight up as a road dog with a spread between 0 and 3.5.
