NC State vs Georgia Tech 2010 College Football Predictions: The North Carolina State Wolfpack, the only 3-0 football team in the ACC, will put their undefeated streak on the line Saturday (Noon ET, ESPN) when they travel to Atlanta, to play the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-1) in the conference opener for both schools.
The Yellow Jackets are listed as 8-chalk favorites on the Bodog.com college football board along with a 57 total. Wolfpack backers are getting +260 odds on the Bodog moneyline while Georgia Tech is giving -320.
So far on the year NC State is 3-0 SU and a perfect 2-0 ATS in lined games. The Wolfpack won their last outing in Week-3, a 30-19 result against BIG EAST power Cincinnati in a Thursday night ESPN televised game (Sept. 16). In that game the Wolfpack covered the betting spread as a 2 1/2-chalk favorite while the 49 combined points took the game UNDER the total.
Georgia Tech won its last outing, a 30-24 result against North Carolina last week. The Yellow Jackets covered in that game as a 3-point underdogs, while the 54 combined points took the game OVER the total.
The Pick: The Wolfpack have been impressive in their three games both SU and ATS. I look for the Yellow Jackets to pull out a win in what should be a close football game. NC State is my pick getting +8 points.
