Florida vs Kentucky College Football Picks, College Football Predictions & College Football Odds: The Florida Gators follow up their War of the Words Bowl with a conference road tilt against the Kentucky Wildcats this evening. The two SEC East foes will kick things off at 6:00pm ET tonight at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2. The victory was huge for Rich Brooks' squad as they face Alabama after this weekend's meeting with Florida. Running back Derrick Locke led the way for the Wildcats , rushing 15 times for 72 yards and a score. Locke also helped his team overcome three turnovers by returning a kickoff 100 yards for a score. Quarterback Mike Hartline also had a decent afternoon, completing 20-of-27 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown. general consensus was that the Gators would bury the Vols by about 50 points after all of Kiffin's off-season posturing, poking, and pontificating. However, Florida managed just a 23-13 win at the Swamp. The Volunteers game plan limited the 3-0 Gators scoring opportunities, but proved ineffective in the end.
