Texas A&M vs Oklahoma State 2010 College Football Picks, 2010 College Football Odds & 2010 College Football Predictions: Big 12 South rivals Texas A&M and Oklahoma State open their conference seasons tomorrow night with a head-to-head clash at T. Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The stand alone game is scheduled to kickoff at 7:30pm ET on ESPN. 2010 College Football Picks, Odds & Predictions at SBGglobal.com have the Cowboys listed as a -3 against the spread home favorite while the game total is set at 66.5.

No team in the Big 12 has been a bigger surprise in the early going than Mike Gundy's Cowboys. Oklahoma State was Texas A&M vs Oklahoma State 2010 College Football Picks, Odds & Predictionssuppose to take a step back this season after losing Zac Robinson, Russell Okung, and Dez Bryant, but the offense has not missed a beat. In fact, it has been better, at least through three games, with 26 year old junior Brandon Weeden under center.

Weeden and holdover Kendall Hunter, who earned first team All America honors in 2008, have proved a lethal combination, leading the Cowboys to a 57 point per game average in wins over Washington State, Troy, and Tulsa. Weeden has thrown for 975 yards and 11 touchdowns this season while Hunter has rushed for 473 yards (7.9 ypc) and six scores.

Oklahoma State was beyond prolific almost two weeks ago against Tulsa, racking up 29 first downs and 722 total yards in just over 27 minutes of possession time.

Texas A&M, which was largely considered the third best team in the South coming into the season (Texas, Oklahoma), also sports a 3-0 record after beating Stephen F. Austin, Louisiana Tech, and Florida International. All went according to plan for the Aggies against the Lumberjacks and Bulldogs as they won those two contests by an average of 36.5 points per game; however, the team hit an unexpected hiccup against FIU.

Texas A&M won the game, but it needed three fourth quarter touchdowns to turn the final score, 27-20, in its favor. Quarterback Jerrod Johnson, who came into the season as a dark horse Heisman contender, had a horrifc outing against the Panthers, completing just 11 of his 31 pass attempts for 194 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions.

The Aggies won four in a row in this series from 2004 to 2007, but the Cowboys have won the last two games by an average of 18.5 points per game. Oklahoma State has also enjoyed the greater overall success of late, going 25-14 over the last three seasons while A&M has produced a 17-21 record in that same time frame. That development has not been lost on Gundy.

"I think we're recruiting as well as (the Aggies) are now," Gundy said, "and I think we've had as much success on the field."

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Oklahoma State is 7-3 against the spread and 9-1 straight up in its last 10 games as a home favorite with a total of 54.5 or more.
